Lavi is a boutique style clothing store. They sell professional clothing with pops of color which can be brought over to a more casual environment. The target audience is geared more towards single women, but also to men between ages 25 to 25, with an income bracket of $45,000 to $75,000.
The name “Lavi” was chosen to reflect on the Indian culture of the owners as well as reflect the pops of color the clothing aims to have. Lavi means color. The lotus was also chosen because it is the traditional flower of India. We wanted to reflect Indian culture without being too “in your face”.
The brand doesn’t use one specific color since the clothing will be a variety of pops of color. To work with the color and around the single color, on all print materials lotus flower will be die-cut wherever possible. This cut out will be able to be put over anything and that color will show through, giving the pops of color.
The website uses lots of white space so the colours in the outfits pop and to make the website clean as well as easy to navigate.
